Since the requirement to include CO2 emissions of used vehicles entering the NZ fleet there have been a number of issues printing fuel consumption statements from the fuelsaver website.
NZTA are working to fix the problem but are hampered by having to evacuate their Palmerston North Office which includes their Contact Centre which is now operating at reduced capacity.

When you send the email, please provide as much detail as possible about the vehicle and the problem you are experiencing (screenshots are also helpful). NZTA will investigate the issue and get back to you with a solution as soon as they can.
If you cannot find a Japanese import on the Fuelsaver website you will need to provide certain information to NZTA.
If you are experiencing this issue, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the following information:
- a copy of the export certificate (i.e. Japanese deregistration document)
- transmission type (CVT, AT, MT)
- vehicle model name (e.g. Prius, Swift)
- year of manufacture.
NZTA will then check if they can source and enter the data for you, so that you can proceed with certification.
